Hello, I’m Maru Alemán — founder of MA Consulting and a dedicated partner to hospitality businesses across Iceland.
Originally from Panama and now based in Iceland, my work brings together international hospitality experience, revenue management expertise, and a deep understanding of hotel technology, distribution, and direct booking strategy.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with boutique hotels, guesthouses, countryside accommodations, and independent properties that need clarity, structure, and strategic guidance to compete in today’s fast-changing market.
My approach is personal and hands-on. I don’t just advise — I work side-by-side with property owners and managers to diagnose issues, implement strategies, clean up systems, and create sustainable revenue growth.
